THREE of Dorset’s outstanding young musicians can be heard in concert on Saturday, September 27 in St Mary’s Church, Dorchester. Pianist Max Blass-Laker, Stacey Newlin, a bassoon student at the junior department of the Royal Academy of Music and a viola player in the National Youth Orchestra, and Martin Weston, a Cambridge Choral Scholar, are all past or present students at Thomas Hardye School and the Dorset Rural Music School.
Their programme is varied and it goes without saying that the standard of performance will be of the highest. Tickets are available from Harmony Music, The Forum Centre, Dorchester or from DRMS, The Close, Blandford. Call 01258 452511 for tickets or email office@drmsmusic.demon.co.uk
