THE sunny summer of 2014 has brought a vintage crop of fresh landscape pictures from Dorset painter Colin Willey.
Nearly 30 impressive new paintings of the countryside and coast are on show in a new exhibition at Gallery On The Square, Poundbury.
Colin, pictured left, who lives in Dorchester, is an artist who loves working outside in the landscape, and this year’s long, warm summer has provided him with more opportunity than ever.
Every year his work attracts a wider following, and in 2011 several of his canvases were acquired for the House of Lords permanent collection.
Gallery On The Square owner David Murdock said: “We were delighted when we opened the gallery that Colin chose to show his pictures here.
“Our late-summer show of his paintings has always been one of the highlights of the year.”
