SEE adventure seekers in their true element next weekend.
A Line Across the Sky showcases climbers ascending The Fitz Roy traverse - one of the most sought after achievements in modern mountaineering.
Showing at Banff Mountain Film Festival at Weymouth Pavilion on April 23, the festival offers audiences the opportunity to travel the world and experience exhilarating adventures from the contrasting comfort of a theatre chair.
Long considered impossible, the Fitz Traverse has fuelled imaginations of climbers in Patagonia for decades.
Tracing the iconic skyline of Cerro Fitz Roy, it spans four miles and 13,000 feet across snow and ice. Tommy Caldwell and Alex Honnold completed the first ascent earning them the prestigious Piolet d’Or award.
