ARTISTS in the Art & Vintage Quarter on St Michael's Estate in Bridport will be opening their studios to the public over the Bank Holiday weekend.
St Michael's Studios will see Caroline Ireland, David Brooke, Kit Glaisyer, Marion Taylor and Charlotte Miller open their doors, whilst at the other end of the same building, the Riverside Studios will be represented by Kim and David Squirrell at Squirrell Bindery & Press and Sally Davies, Elizabeth Sporne and their guest, photographer Neil Barnes, at Studio in the Attic.
The participating artists will be open between 10am and 5pm on all or part of the three days of the Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday August 26 to 28 and look forward to showing visitors their work over refreshments.
The participating artists consider this Bank Holiday Open Weekend as their own micro-local precursor to the district-wide official Bridport Open Studios, which historically has taken place annually around the August Bank Holiday weekend but this year has moved back to September.
