WEYMOUTH Choral Society is hoping to attract some new members and is inviting budding singers to come along and give them a go.
Anyone who would like to try singing choral music can be assured of a friendly welcome at open rehearsals on Mondays September 11 and 18 from 7.30pm at St Aldhelm’s Church Centre in Weymouth.
The ability to read music is helpful but not essential. There are vacancies in all voice ranges.
Weymouth Choral Society is a group of about 80 singers of all ages and abilities.
They meet in term times on Monday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at St Aldhelm’s Church Centre, Radipole Lane, Weymouth DT3 5EW.
There are four concerts each season, usually performed in St John’s Church, Weymouth and, in summer, at All Saints’ School, Wyke Regis.
