Fast approaching once again we have Remembrance Day. It’s a time for us all to remember those who sacrificed their lives to retain our freedom. To show our respect, most of us wear the commemorative poppy, and we wear it with pride.
Why is it that 80 per cent of us wear it wrong?
Even on TV we see so many announcers and celebs wearing them wrong – why is that?
So, you might ask, what is the right way? The right way is for the leaf pointing in the 11 o’clock position when the poppy’s worn.
This signifies the 11th hour on the 11th day etc.
Please wear your poppy with pride – but wear it right. Most important of all, don’t forget to purchase your poppy – all money collected goes to a great cause.
