A DEFENDANT accused of raping a woman in Weymouth and falsely imprisoning her and another man has been giving evidence at his trial.

Louay Elamin, 32, denies allegations that he locked the 28-year-old woman in his then home on March 20, 2009, and forced her to perform a sexual act.

He also denies beating another man who knocked on the door during the incident and leaving him tied up while he raped the woman in the next room.

Elamin, now of Seven Kings Road, Ilford in London, is standing trial at Dorchester Crown Court for two offences of rape and two allegations of false imprisonment.

Taking to the witness box, Elamin claimed the allegations against him were completely made up.

He was asked by his barrister Malcolm Gibney: “What do you say about the allegations about what happened on March 20, 2009?

“Is there any substance to any of that?”

Elamin told the jury: “There is no truth in it, I didn’t rape her and I didn’t tie him up.”

He later said in cross examination: “I did not rape her, I have never raped anybody in my entire life. I find it completely offensive, highly dishonourable and quite frankly repugnant.”

The trial continues.
