Police uncover drugs haul

A police officer making enquiries about a burglary uncovered a drugs haul. The officer had been knocking on doors on Monday evening (Oct 22) with regards a burglary on the Esplanade. He knocked on a door and became aware of the smell of cannabis. A quality of cannabis, Class A drugs and cash was seized and two local men were arrested, aged 21 and 27. The men have been bailed pending further enquiries.
