Police launch appeal after burglary on Portland

POLICE have launched a witness appeal after burglars caused thousands of pounds in damage at a building site on Portland.
A number of properties under construction on Castle Road were broken into and the offenders caused extensive damage to the outside of the premises.
Officers have just released the details of the incident, which happened at around 7.30pm on Thursday, October 18, and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
