A NEW pop-up art gallery will be opening this weekend in Hope Square, Weymouth.
Artwey, Weymouth and Portland’s own group of local artists, will be launching an arts and crafts gallery in a spacious new location in Brewers Quay facing the square.
Their new venture, which follows the success of several pop-up restaurants and shops over the summer, is set to stay in place until next January.
It will launch this Saturday, October 27 and then open from 11am to 5pm daily except Mondays.
Artwey spokesman Olivia Nurrish said: “Artwey hopes to bring a bit of life back to the square.
“Here at the arts and craft gallery you will be able to see a variety of work, much of which is inspired by Dorset’s beautiful and unique landscape.
“From paintings and prints to textiles, jewellery, glass and sculpture, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
