FAMILIES can enjoy Monkey World’s spooky Halloween trail this half-term.

Those who go along to the 65-acre Ape Rescue Centre near Bovington can get in the spooky spirit and enjoy seeing the stars of TV’s Monkey Life.

Free entry will be offered to anybody who attends in full Halloween fancy dress tomorrow, while the week of spooky events will end on Sunday, November 4.

At 3pm tomorrow a competition will be held for the best adult and child costumes, so the spookier the better. The competition will be judged by animal director Jeremy Keeling, and Mike Colbourne, education officer.

The Halloween trail will take visitors through the park, with spooky clues to spot around the enclosures.

Each child will enter a prize draw to win an adoption of their favourite primate, which includes free entry to the park for a whole year.

The park provides sanctuary for rescued and endangered primates from around the world, housing more than 240 primates of 17 different species.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in enrichment bottle making for the primates from 11am to 3pm every day.

The park is open 10am to 5pm each day with last entry one hour before closing.

Entry costs £11 for adults, £7.75 senior citizens, £9.50 for students, £34 for a family of two adults and two children and £24 for one adult and two children. For more information visit monkeyworld.org.
