TOURIST Information Centres in West Dorset are offering people the chance to spread some festive cheer and support a good cause at the same time.
West Dorset District Council-run centres in Bridport, Dorchester and Sherborne have stocked up on charity Christmas cards.
They will go on sale on behalf of the charity network Cards for Good Causes, which supports a range of national and local organisations including Cancer Research UK and the RNLI.
Mayor of Dorchester Andy Canning will attend the Tourist Information Centre on November 5, to launch their sale.
Dorchester Tourist Information Centre manager Caroline Morrish-Banham said: “I’d really encourage people to buy their Christmas cards from our Tourist Information Centres. Not only are they great to send to friends and family, but you will also be helping to support many wonderful charities both locally and across the country.
“Charity cards are a great way to buy once and give twice – once to the person who receives your card and once to your favourite charity.”
