A WATERCRESS company demonstrated community spirit by helping to clear roads around local villages.
Stuart Carless, landcrop production manager at The Watercress Company at Waddock Cross near Dorchester, and his team went out with their ploughs clearing roads around Owermoigne, Tincleton, Briantspuddle and Affpuddle.
It was part of a strategy established by local parish councils to ensure local traffic in rural areas was able to pass safely through the villages to and from work.
The Watercress Company promised to remain on standby until the weather has subsided.
