  • This month’s PACT meeting, held at Bincombe Court was very well attended and the opening discussion was the recent arson attacks.
We were told that several arrests had been made and the police will continue to have increased foot and vehicle patrols as well as plain clothes  patrols at all times of day and night. Dorset Fire and rescue are also increasing their patrols.
We now have 3 police officers and two PCSO’s covering the Littlemoor area but we were reminded that the public should remain vigilant and report any suspicious or anti-social behaviour.
With security and personal safety in mind councillor Rachel Rogers said that each household will soon be getting information packs about a proposed neighbourhood watch scheme.
P.C Christine Gould reminded everyone that every 1st Saturday of the month between 11am and 12 at the Co-Op the police hold a 'drop in' session to answer any questions or help with any concerns you have.
In addition they will also be holding a drop in session at the church every Friday between 11 and 12.
