LAW firms in Dorset are seeing an improvement in fortunes despite the challenging economic climate, according to a new survey.
The Law Society’s Law Management Section (LMS) annual profitability survey showed that practice fee income for legal firms increased by 3.6 per cent in 2012 compared with one per cent in 2011.
Andrew Higgins, senior manager, specialist markets for survey sponsors Lloyds TSB Commercial in Dorset, said: “This year’s survey results demonstrate once again the resilience of the solicitors’ profession.”
