STAFF at Pulse gym in Weymouth are urging people to have a heart and help raise funds for charity.

Workers at the Surrey Close fitness centre are helping the British Heart Foundation throughout March by donating £10 to the charity every time someone new joins the gym.

In addition, there will be a BHF donation bin in the gym where anyone can leave any of their unwanted items such as clothes, accessories, books, toys, CDs and DVDs.

The decision to help the British Heart Foundation came about through the gym’s growing membership and desire to put something back into the local community.
