Woman airlifted to hospital from Durdle Door

A woman suffered a broken ankle while walking near Durdle Door.

Portland coastguard helicopter helped out South Western Ambulance in airlifting a woman who had suffered a broken ankle on the coastal path near Durdle Door yesterday afternoon.

Lulworth coastguards attended the scene and Wyke coastguards manned the helicopter landing site at Dorset County Hospital accident and emergency.
