A COUPLE got married in Weymouth and had their reception in a medieval barn.

Felicity Cranny, 28, owner of Limelight clothing store in Weymouth and Thomas Treweek, 27, a gas and heating engineer, met nine years ago through mutual friends on Portland.

Thomas popped the question while the couple were on holiday in Thailand.

The pair tied the knot at St John’s at Greenhill and then all the guests boarded a Barry’s Coaches vehicle and drove to Stockbridge Farm, a medieval barn, near Sherborne.

The couple were able to decorate the barn themselves and chose a pink and orange theme.

There were six bridesmaids, three in pink and three in orange.

Guests came from Birmingham, Liverpool and Spain for the big day.

The bride said everyone had a wonderful time.

She said her best memory was having everyone together to celebrate.

She said: “For me sitting at the head of the table and looking across the room and seeing all my friends and family together under one roof was wonderful.”

The couple spent two weeks on honeymoon in Jamaica.

The happy couple would like to thank everyone who helped to make their day so special, especially their families and friends.
