POLICE and fire crews were tasked following a collision involving a caravan on the A35 near Wareham.
The incident took place at around 9.30am this morning near Sandford.
Dorset Fire and Rescue said the crash involved a caravan and a private vehicle.
Firefighters were called by police to attend due to concern for the safety of a gas canister inside the caravan.
Crews made the vehicle safe and an amount of spilled oil was absorbed from the road using environment agency equipment.
