The first ever all-through school is set to open next year.

Crawley Free School, which will cater for more than 1,000 pupils from the age of four to 16, is set to open in September 2014.

It will be a partnership between Place Group and Mosaica Education, which runs the Aurora Academies Trust. The school will open in north east Crawley with a handful of possible sites identified in Pound Hill and Three Bridges.

A site is set to be finalised in the coming weeks.

The school was among 102 free schools approved by the Department for Education earlier this month.
