SEVEN men and one woman have been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
The eight were arrested in Middlesbrough following a police operation to reduce the numbers of burglaries in the town.
Suspected stolen property was recovered and men aged 53, 37, 30, 29, 28, 27 and 26 and a 21-year-old woman were arrested this morning, Wednesday, July 3, on suspicion of burglary.
Acting Detective Inspector Pete Graham said: “We will continue to work tirelessly to clamp down on burglary. It is a priority of Cleveland Police to tackle this invasive and distressing crime and our operations will continue throughout the summer months.”
