THIEVES have stolen a large quantity of silver from a home near Dorchester.
The items were taken from the home of an 82-year-old woman in Chebard on Wednesday, August 14.
The break-in happened sometime between 9am and 12.50pm.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward to help them with enquiries.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We received a report of a break-in at a home in Chebard, Dorchester.
“The offenders forced entry into the house and after an untidy search took away a large quantity of silver.”
