Coastguards alerted after child on inflatable blown out to sea
A CHILD was rescued after being blown out to sea on an inflatable this afternoon.
Coastguards were alerted to the incident at West Bay at around 1.30pm.
A man, believed to be the child's father, brought the inflatable back to shore with help from a nearby boat.
Elsewhere, around seven youngsters were rescued after their kayak capsized.
The inshore lifeboat responded to the incident at Studland Bay at 2.30pm.
