Well done to Richard Drax who joined the rebels in the commons.
This was a principled stand for reasons of protecting the lives of loyal troops decimated by cuts as set out in his recent Echo column.
Having been quick to criticise the delays in modifying the dangerous bends on estate walls, let me be equally quick to praise.
I would add other reasons such as the imprecise nature of Cruise missiles which famously missed and hit the Chinese embassy in Baghdad.
The path to peace does not lie in killing people who kill people, to show killing people is wrong.
Maybe the millions saved from not starting a war can be used to feed the poor and rescue our coastguard helicopter?
