CROWDS enjoyed an afternoon of science, art and technology to celebrate the work of a pioneering evolutionist.
The Thomas Hardye School held a special Science Fun Day, pictured above, to celebrate the centenary of the death of Alfred Russel Wallace.
More than 300 people turned out for the event, which also helped promote Operation Wallace – a project that will see a team of students head to Mexico as part of a research programme in July next year.
The students will need to raise funds for the expedition and will be grateful for any sponsorship.
