Police officers and paramedics swooped on a block of flats in Portland after a 40-year-old man received stomach injuries.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said officers were called to a block of flats on Monday on Courtlands Road after reports of a disturbance at 10.50pm. When they arrived they found a 40-year-old man with a stomach injury and as a result a 52-year-old woman was arrested.
The man was taken to Dorset County Hospital and then Poole Hospital before being discharged with non-serious injuries. The woman was later released without charge and there is no ongoing investigation.
