VISITORS got ‘all aboard’ as miniature railway worlds came to life.
A number of different layouts in various gauges were on display for young and old to enjoy at Weymouth Model Railway Association’s annual exhibition.
The event was held at The Wey Valley School and drew a healthy crowd.
Organisers said there were 30 different layouts set up, including models based on Dorset lines.
Honorary secretary for the club Richard St Leger said: “We had quite a good attendance, the show went very well and everyone involved enjoyed it – the exhibitors, traders and general public.”
The association, which meets on Monday evenings at the Upwey and Broadwey Memorial Hall in Victoria Avenue between 7-10pm, is always keen for new members to come along and get involved. The group caters for railway modellers in all the main scales from ‘N’ to ‘G’.
Mr St Leger said: “People are always welcome to join the club, no matter what their skills are.”
