Dorset Echo: Firefighters rescue cow from mud Firefighters rescue cow from mud

FIREFIGHTERS were called to what was originally reported as a cow stuck in mud.

Retained crews from Bridport together with a crew from Poole trained in large animal rescues have been alerted to a location near Loders where the animal is reported to be stranded.

It was first thought the animal was stuck in mud within a stream but it now appears it has crossed the water and is stuck on a bank.

The owner is being contacted to help free the animal.

Such a waste of resources, the silly cow should be made to pay the full cost of the rescue, shouldn't have strayed.
