A DRIVER was taken to hospital after his car ended up in a hedge.
Firefighters rushed to the scene at North Wooton, near Sherborne, and made the vehicle safe by disconnecting the battery before helping the driver out of the car.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance just after 8am yesterday.
Later in the day firefighters from Shaftesbury were called to help with a fuel spillage on Badger Walk.
