A DINGHY capsized in Portland Harbour.
Coastguards were alerted but before the RNLI lifeboat could be sent to the scene just before 5pm yesterday, 400 metres off shore, a vessel from the Sailing Academy was able to recover the dinghy and two men aboard.
Just after 5pm, coastguards took details of a merchant vessel, the Pacific Sea, which was carrying out engine repairs in the shipping lanes.
Once complete the vessel continued the journey.
