ARRESTS have been made following an attempted robbery and an arson attack in Littlemoor.
Police have arrested a teenager in connection with the attempted robbery.
Officers appealed for witnesses after a street attack on a 47-year-old local man, who suffered a broken rib.
The attack took place in the Beverley Road area on Sunday, January 5.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: "An 18-year-old Weymouth man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.
"He has been released on bail pending further inquiries."
The appeal for witnesses has been renewed and officers are urging anyone with information on the incident to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 05:140 or to call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
A 20-year-old Weymouth man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after two cars were torched in a residents' car park at Nuthatch Close, Littlemoor, Weymouth.
A police spokeswoman said the man was released on bail pending further inquiries.
Officers are still appealing for witnesses to the incident, in which a red Fiat Grande Punto and a black Mazda MX-5 were torched in the early hours of January 15.
Anyone with information should call 101, quoting crime reference number 15:16.
