12:00pm Monday 27th January 2014 in News
PEOPLE in their 40s, 50s and 60s with dementia in Dorset will be able to benefit from new peer support groups.
The Alzheimer’s Society is running groups for younger people to meet others in a friendly environment over a cup of tea and cake.
Staff from the Alzheimer’s Society will also be on hand to offer information and support. The first West Dorset meeting will be held at The Engine Room at Poundbury Garden Centre in Peverell Avenue from 10.30am to noon on Monday, February 10.
A North Dorset Group will meet at the Exchange Gallery Cafe in Sturminster Newton on February 5. Contact Jo on 01202 716393.
