ABI RUTHERFORD, aged 22, of Empool Close, Crossways. Found guilty in absence of using a colour television receiver without a licence. Fined £200 and ordered to pay costs of £90.

SCOTT JAMES SMITH, aged 34, of Fleet Street, Beaminster. Admitted criminal damage to property under £5000. Fined £250, ordered to pay compensation of £175 and costs of £85.

JAMIE WILLIAMS, aged 41 of Fulbrooks Lane, Bridport. Admitted breach of a community requirement of a suspended sentence order. Suspended sentence now varied, committed to prison for a term of five months suspended for 18 months. New and varied requirements: Drug Rehabilitation Requirement: have treatment for drug dependency.

PAUL ANTHONY HUGHES, aged 26, of no fixed abode. Admitted being carried in or on a motor vehicle taken without the owner’s consent in Dorchester.
