STAFF working for a bus and coach operator have been promoted.
Go South Coast, the Go Ahead Group’s southern division of bus and coach companies, has promoted two people from sister companies morebus and Salisbury Reds to manage the Dorset based bus and coach operator Damory Coaches.
Adam Keen, who was appointed operations manager for the morebus Poole, Bournemouth and Purbeck bus network in 2012, will now see his responsibility extended to cover the Damory network.
Bob Crutchfield, who started his career as a bus driver for Hants & Dorset in Winchester in 1982 and joined Salisbury Reds as staff manager in 2006, is promoted to assistant operations manager.
Andrew Wickham, managing director for the Go South Coast, said he is delighted to announce the promotions and new senior management team at Damory.
He said: “The combined experience and enthusiasm will be welcomed as we invest and remain committed to providing a first class service within Dorset.
“They have the experience, foresight and integrity to continue Damory’s success.”
Damory, based in Pimperne, operates a fleet of 97 buses and coaches from depots at Pimperne, Dorchester, Henstridge, Swanage and Poole with a team of 111 drivers, engineering and support personnel.
