PEOPLE seeking a date, love, or just a fun night out are being urged to take part in a charity Take Me Out event.

Based on the popular ITV programme, Weldmar Hospicecare is hoping to match 10 couples who will be treated to an all-expenses paid date.

Instead of going to the Isle of Fernando’s however, successfully matched couples will go for a meal at Nandos in Brewery Square, Dorchester.

Weldmar are looking for 10 single men. The men will have the opportunity to impress the women in three rounds, with each lady having a light in front of them. If they don’t like what they see, they can turn off their light.

Matt Smith, event organiser, said: “This is all about having fun and creating an enjoyable evening for the participants and audience members.

“The response for this event has been fantastic but we still need singles to sign up to help make the evening successful.

“If people are concerned about signing up on their own, why not register with a group of friends?”

He added: “It really will be an enjoyable evening and you may even find your lifelong partner by the end of it.”

Money raised from Weldmar’s Take Me Out will go towards funding the continuation of care that Weldmar provides throughout Dorset.

Weldmar Hospicecare Trust cares for patients with cancer and other progressive conditions, such as motor neurone disease.

Patients in north, south and west Dorset receive care and advice in the comfort of their own homes, in day hospices and the inpatient unit at Joseph Weld Hospice.

Weldmar’s Take Me Out will be held on Friday, March 21 at Weymouth Pavilion. The event is now sold out.

Single men can register for £12. For more information, please phone Matt on 01305 261800 or visit weld-hospice.org.uk/takemeout
