WEIGHT loss experts are offering free weigh-ins, BMI measurements and advice at meetings in Weymouth and Dorchester next week.

Weight Watchers is opening its doors for people to come in and experience its meetings for free.

Local Weight Watchers leader Debbie Scammell said: “Members from Dorchester meetings have lost over 131 stone so far this year and we know we can help even more West Dorset residents to lose that excess weight.

“That’s why we’ve decided to open our doors for a week and help people get on the right track to tackle our weighty problem.

“We encourage residents who are concerned about their weight to come and see us – together we can make a big difference and reduce the risk of obesity.”

Meetings are held at the Dorchester United Church from 6pm on Monday, at Weymouth College from 5.45pm on Tuesday and Dorchester Community Church from 9.45am on Saturday.
