A PARAGLIDER received medical attention after hitting rocks at speed.

Earlier that day, Portland Coastguard received a 999 call reporting a dog falling from a cliff in the Durlston Head area.

Officers from Swanage Coastguard Rescue Team and Swanage Inshore Lifeboat attended the scene at around 1.34pm.

*Yet another dog owner WHO (presumably the owner is a living being and not a machine or other 'thing') needs educating on how to look after dogs when near cliff EDGES.* (No apostrophe, since there is nothing missing from the word 'edges' - it's merely a plural.)
