BUS users in Weymouth are being warned changes to bus stops at the King’s Statue will come into effect on Sunday, April 6.
The bus stops have been moved by the county council so that buses won’t have to wait to get into their allotted stop.
Cllr Mike Byatt, Dorset County Council’s member for the town centre, said: “During busy times buses have had to queue to get into their spot, which has caused congestion for other road users.
“Hopefully this change will solve this issue.
“We will continue to look at the Weymouth transport package to make sure it works for local people.”
The bus stops will have information about these changes and passengers will need to check this and the passenger information displays to make sure that they are at the correct stop.
