AN ORGANICS recycling and renewable energy firm has appointed a new commercial director.
Peter Hardy has been appointed to the board of ECO Sustainable Solutions.
Mr Hardy joined the firm, based in Dorset, in 1993 and prior to his new role was a commercial manager.
He has also worked for Tarmac as recycling area manager and as a sales and marking executive for South Coast Demolition & Tipper Hire.
Trelawney Dampney, Eco’s managing director, said Mr Hardy’s promotion was well-deserved.
Mr Dampney said: “Peter was one of our very first employees and it’s been great to see him grow and develop as a manager over the years.
“He has demonstrated both dedication and achievement in his role as sales manager, both in achieving his targets and building a great team.
“We are confident that he will provide a valuable additional resource to Eco’s Board and we look forward to his contribution.”
ECO employs 46 people and has an annual turnover of £11million. It currently processes 250,000 tonnes of organic material each year across four facilities.
