POLICE are renewing their appeal for information following two break-ins on Portland.

As reported in the Echo, thieves broke in to Fancy’s Farm sometime between 8.45pm on Friday, March 28 and 7.50am on Saturday, March 29.

They gained entry by smashing a window and stole a quantity of cash.

Owner Su Illsley thanked the community for its ‘absolutely phenomenal’ support after a number of donations helped to replace what was stolen.

The Community 2000 hall was also broken in to sometime between 4pm on Friday March 28 and 9am on Monday, March 31.

Police Constable Adam Bayliss, of Weymouth Police said: “I would urge anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area to come forward as soon as possible.

“Anyone with information that can assist the investigation is asked to contact the police in confidence.

“I would like to remind people to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.”
