YOUR views are needed to help improve the health and social care of frail people and those with multiple long term conditions in Dorset.

Local health and social care partners are working together under The Better Together programme to develop joint community health and social care programmes.

The views of local people are an important part of this work and have been used to develop a draft description of how services could work together in the future.

Documents detailing these draft plans have been made available via the NHS Dorset CCG website and the Dorset For You website.

Feedback is now being invited via email, in the post or via an online survey.

During April 2014 an event was held in Bournemouth which saw more than 100 people from a variety of organisations come together to discuss this project.

A short video on the event which explains more about the programme, is available on the NHS Dorset CCG website dorsetccg.nhs.uk Dr Forbes Watson, chair of NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “At the recent event in Bournemouth, we gathered views from a large number of people representing a wide range of organisations.

“We have used these to create the first draft of proposals, on which we are now asking for views.

“Input from local people is vital in everything we do and we are encouraging people to visit our website and have their say.”
