This Saturday is Museums at Night in Dorchester when all six of the towns major museums throw their doors open to the public in the evening.
It’s an unmissable chance to discover and enjoy any or all of these excellent heritage attractions: the Dinosaur Museum, the Dorset County Museum, the Tutankhamun Exhibition, the Keep Military Museum, the Teddy Bear Museum and the Terracotta Warriors Museum.
All are specially open this Saturday, May 17, from 5pm to 9pm.
The museums are also joined in the evening by the Roman Town House, and Max Gate opens as a preview to the event between 3.30pm and 5.30pm. There is one amazing ticket that gives admission to all eight attractions for only £10, when bought in advance, for up to two adults and four children.
