FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a car ablaze in Weymouth's Asda car park earlier this evening.

The cause of the fire, which severely damaged the engine bay, was believed to be an electrical fault.

Crews wore breathing apparatus to tackle the fire and were on scene about 35 minutes.

There was congestion in the area as firefighters were at the scene dealing with the incident.

No-one was hurt.
