A DORSET solicitors firm donated £700 towards a charity’s fundraising event.
Humphries Kirk, which has offices in Parkstone, Poole, Bournemouth, Swanage and Wareham, gave the money to the Canine Partners event at Melbury House in Melbury Sampford, which included a live auction and raffle, as well as a presentation of dogs showcasing their skills including opening and shutting doors, picking up dropped items and pressing buttons.
Katharine Jones, partner at Humphries Kirk, said: “We were more than delighted to sponsor and support Canine Partners.
“The dogs are remarkable and enable disabled people to enjoy greater independence and a better quality of life.’’
