THE Friends of Dorset County Hospital raised more than £865 at a recent fundraising event.
The charity held a virtual dog racing night at the Colliton Club in Dorchester, and as well as the virtual racing, there was also a buffet and a raffle for the guests.
All of the money raised at the night will be donated to the DCH.
Sharon Merritt, from the Friends of Dorset County Hospital, said: “It was a fun evening enjoyed by all, we had a fantastic response raising over £865.
“We would like to thank Annette Kent who led the fundraising team, all the volunteers who worked on the night, all our supporters who donated amazing prizes for the raffle, and of course a big thank you to the Colliton Club for allowing us to hold the event there.”
