GET your wheels in motion with a free bike check-up as part of National Bike Week.

Dorset County Council is hosting two Dr Bike sessions for cyclists in Dorchester and Weymouth.

The sessions include fixing punctures and adjusting brakes and gears, as well as advising on potential problems and giving tips on looking after bikes. You could also cycle into Dorchester on Wednesday, June 18 for your bike to get the once-over from a qualified mechanic, outside County Hall any time between 12 and 4pm.

For those out and about in Weymouth on June 22, a free bike maintenance session is on offer at the Westham Bridge secure cycle parking compound from 10.30am to 3pm.
