Dorset Echo: WERE IN THE NEWS: Rainbows celebrate 100 years of Brownies WERE IN THE NEWS: Rainbows celebrate 100 years of Brownies

1st Wyke Regis Rainbows are joining in the celebration of 100 years of Brownies in 2014 by thinking about’community’.

Rainbows asked family and friends to donate items such as pasta, rice, tinned vegetables and fruit and other items on the foodbank’s list. They invited Doris Flack, a volunteer for Weymouth Foodbank, to visit their meeting to collect items for the foodbank. Doris was extremely grateful on behalf of the many needy people who use the Foodbank, which is based at Weymouth Baptist Church.
