SEE THE PICTURES: Fluffy creature goes for a hare wash

Dorset Echo: Wildlife photographer John Wall caught this hare having a dip Wildlife photographer John Wall caught this hare having a dip

THESE HARE-larious photos show you're never too fluffy for a nice dip in the sea.

Wildlife photographer John Wall is used to seeing brown hares hopping along Chesil and this one was no exception.

But what it did next surprised even him.

"It wanted to reach the far bank and stopped at the water's edge, looked around, thought a little- and gently waded in," said John.

"I believe the hare thought it could just wade across but I watched as it definately dropped deeper into the water.

"I thought I might have to intervene if it got into trouble as I had no idea they could swim.

"The hare, surprised by the sudden depth of water, started a kind of doggy paddle.

“And after about five seconds it changed its mind.”
