THE Purbeck Sports Centre has launched its exciting new summer programme.

An action-packed six weeks of fun starts on Wednesday, July 23 for adults and children – and childcare will be on offer for four to eight-year-olds.

The Wareham-based centre will offer scuba, trampolining, football, swimming, clay target shooting, snorkelling, golf, baby ballet and adventure days for kids.

The two new holiday clubs guarantee a full programme. The all-new favourite, SportZone, which is for eight to 12-year-olds, has a fun-filled line-up with themed events including American and Great British sports, indoor and outdoor activities, the Purbeck Games and much-more.

SportZone costs £10.50 per child per half day or £18 for a day. It is open weekdays between 8.15am and 5.45pm.

Brightsparks is a great childcare option for the younger children.

Four to eight year olds will be well looked after in the safe hands of experienced and qualified staff who will make sure fun is the number one priority. Brightsparks is open from 8am to 6pm.

It costs £12 per child half day, or £20 for a full day.

Most childcare vouchers are accepted.

There’s a lot for the adults too, including swimming, tennis, gym, exercise classes, beauty therapies and badminton. Michelle Goodman, operations manager, said: “Whether you want a break from the kids, some family fun, a cool down in the pool or respite from the rain, we have loads to offer everyone this summer.

“With some great activities and an action-packed children’s programme, we’re looking forward to one of our best summers yet.”
