THE DORCHESTER Chamber of Commerce hosted its second Business Forum at the Kings Arms Hotel.
The meeting was attending by various members of the local business community, mainly from the independent retail sector.
The forum was addressed by Dorchester town clerk Adrian Stuart and Mike Reed, chairman of the Dorchester BID (Business Improvement District), with both emphasising the need for all local government and business groups to work closely together for the good of the county town.
Senior economic regeneration officer for West Dorset District Council Trevor Hedger also gave a presentation at the meeting, giving an insight into the Dorchester Mentoring scheme with case studies featuring local businesses.
The scheme was well received by the businesses that were present.
Organisers David Upshall and Lucy Bowden said they wanted to thank all those who attended and the speakers who gave their time.
